Golpur

The Golpur region is a huge region/continent on Gunurash III in the Gunurash star system, and is the location of Agog, capital city of the Krona homeworld, as well as many other notable places.

Like most of Gunurash III it is hot, rocky, ancient and harsh - the planet in orbit around a red giant - based on an immense, rocky plain abutting the salty inland Gatza Sea beyond Agog in the far south of the region, and being mainly comprised of the sweltering and predator-filled Golpur desert.

The area is famous for its cuisine and spices, which include: Golpur cinnamon, Golpur vanilla, Hinkafruit and of course, Krona favorite, the formidable Nidra Petals - a key ingredient in their famous and infamous Tuskbuster candy, as well as being the sector's main exporter of tarak beetle meat and by-products. They have also taken well to growing allions and garlic, which thrive in the hot and dry conditions.
