A sturdy herd animal from Uycheon III, the akbaz is a domesticated herbivore commonly used in Tukkav history as a beast of burden, with broad shoulders, four short legs that end in hooves, and long white hair that grows particularly thick around the neck. Herds of akbazi are often kept on many offworld farms, prized by meat, dairy and textile industries alike.
Ethically-questionable experiments performed on akbazi by Strawman Industries have resulted in the creation of a new subspecies known as 'adkbazi'. The Tosmar Wildlife Reserve on Uycheon III acts to provide a safe and comfortable habitat for any specimens it is able to acquire, and to manage the bizarre side-effects the adkbaz might exhibit.
