An extraterrestial kith-based organism native to the Benu System, the jubilee is relatively avian in appearance, with wings and a plumage of feathery fire which it sustains even in the vacuum of space. Though the jubilee does not have a beak, it nevertheless feeds on space-faring insects and the star kith of its home system's sun. As flocks of jubilee, called murmurations, can be seen from Benu Wen with the naked eye at the start of the planet's springtime season, making them part of the W'hoorn cultural tradition since before they achieved spaceflight.

As such, the W'hoorn dessert of the same name can be said to be inspired by or representative of the jubilee and its annual appearance. The flaming jubilee is a collection of fruits stewed in alcohol and spices before being set alight and served flaming, typically as a topping or accompaniment some other sweet dessert, such as icecream, pudding or cake.
