Coriolis Mountains

Covered in old-growth xaocoren forest, the Coriolis Mountains of Selubir form a low range of moss-carpeted peaks, worn down by the high winds that disturb its saffron sky. Rainfall runoff leeches toxins from copper-rich substrate and gradually collects into fierce river rapids that course through the region. Horned lapines and copper flitwings can be found browsing the slopes, while caves set into the lowlands provide shelter for bioluminescent fungi and nocturnal simian batcatchers, who emerge at night to hunt and forage.
