A marine invertebrate native to the coastal regions of Delphi's Keter Ocean, the ```kathris jellyfish``` is a seasonal delight in subaquatic cities fortunate enough to view their seasonal bloom, widely admired for their curved and shimmering bell, and the way their tendrils twinkle with strobing photophores. While their sting is known to cause sensitive rashes, they are considered to be little more than a mild irritant to anyone lacking an allergy to its toxin.

Viewing parties are common and often public occurrences during the ```kathris bloom```, inspired by the antiquated superstition of the bloom being an auspicious time to embark on new adventures or make declarations of love.
