A Horde is a collection of Ry'nari tribes that have forged an alliance. The leader of a horde serves until death. When the leader passes, a large feast known as a Narangerel is held to celebrate the fallen leader and select a new one. This is done in a process called the Gomoran, where each contending tribe leader selects six warriors to represent him or her in a battle to the death.
