Though not a true spider, the hagda of the Locorin Swamp on the planet Krell certainly bears some similarities, with a small thorax and large abdomen, eight legs, and a short coat of spiky blue-grey fur. Its eight eyed are bright blue with slitted pupils like a great cat. It has curved spikes at the ends of each leg to aid it in climbing across all kinds of difficult terrain.
