Xanthemums
Xanthemums are descended from a long line of flowers that date all the way back to the chrysanthemum of Earth. This is the only known flower that has Earth lineage, although it was so far back that it can hardly be called the same flower. The shape is largely the same, but the striking variations in color and size are most noticeably different today. Xanthemums are often genetically modified to have crazy patterns and hues, and this bouquet is no exception - some of the blooms have crazy whorls in the center, some are completely monochrome, others are all the shades of a pastel rainbow, and a few even have tigrid-like stripes. Often sold as cut flowers for decorative purposes.
