Sloyo

The double bass sloyo is a traditional Krona wind instrument. It is a freestanding, curving pipe carved from wood stained in dark hues. Too heavy to easily move, it stands taller than the height of most Decheerans, with the mouthpiece only accessible by climbing a built-in ladder. The sound that erupts from the sloyo is sonorous, deep enough to shake the earth.
