A bottom-dwelling freshwater fish native to Uycheon III, the mudfish is a fiercely territorial and stubborn fish with smooth, dark brown skin, a very generous layer of protective fat, a large mouth and stunted, spade-like fins that resemble vestigal feet. Mudfish burrow into the sediment at the bottom of their territory, enjoying both the insulation from the cold and effective camouflage from predators and prey alike.
