The Merova are slow, creeping animals about the size of a housecat that are native to Jerzah (the Nath-el homeworld). Each one has a single, hollow horn on the front of their bodies. Over the course of their life, this horn extrudes an extremely fine, beautiful silk at a glacial pace. This Merovian silk is then harvested and sold at high prices.
