Rockhopper

Looking like a cross between a spider and a grasshopper, the Rockhopper is about five centimeters across. It has ten legs, all suitable for jumping. Nobody knows where this species originally came from. It pops up everywhere and can live aboard spaceships - an intersystem invasive species that eats smaller insects, fruit, and garbage. They're called different things on different planets, but most people call them rockhoppers. They are the cockroaches of space. Krona on Scatterhome farm them and freeze-dry them as a dirt-cheap protein source.
