Merovian silk

Merovian silk is a very expensive silk from a horned creature called a merova, found on Jerzah, the homeworld of the Nath-el. The merova slowly exude silk from a single hollow horn that grows and grows, like a very narrow volcano constantly slowly spitting out silk that circles around to continue growing the horn. It's an exceedingly slow process. The silk is harvested through a process of laboriously unraveling, by hand, the horn of the merova. It's considered one of the most gorgeous of fabrics, and seems to scintillate slightly as it moves in the light. It's also quite pricey and fairly rare.
