Pyr boat

A traditional seafaring vessel design used by the Rek to ply the Shaadryan Sea.

Set low to the water like a raft, the flat deck of a pyr is centered around an inverted wooden cone and partially enclosed by a low railing. Hollow and full of air, the sealed cone maintains buoyancy in the water, while a long paddle is used to direct the vessel along the currents, or push and row when more deliberate action is required.
