Blood darter

Blood darters are essentially giant, aggressive, spiky black mosquitoes, about the size of a large dog. They suck your blood and have a wasplike stinger that injects an agonizing poison. They live in the Amber Ridgeline and other high places of Ghenla, but descend to the swampy lowlands occasionally to feast on smaller creatures and aquatic wildlife.
