Blithu slug

A gooey invertebrate native to Deisk, the moon of the planet Sighaerd, the blithu slug dwells in the deep subterraneous caverns beneath the frozen surface of the moon, searching for sources of liquid water to absorb through its thick gelatinous membrane. Weighing approximately five kilograms as an adult, the blithu slug has beady black eyes on either side of its amorphous body, a slimy layer of protective mucous, and a lateral occlusion shift that leaves its lower body a pale pink color, and its upper body white and semitranslucent, giving glimpses of its internal anatomy. It has a pair of antennae atop its body, which are its primary sensory organs.
