Baleograde

A spacefaring extremophile found in asteroids across the sector, the baleograde is a long, wriggling creature with semi-translucent gray skin with an interior anatomy composed of helical strands of dissolved minerals and a powerful corrosive acid. It uses expulsions of compounds to assist it in navigating a zero-gravity existence.
