The Starlily

The Starlily is the main orbital station of Atria.

The station provides the departure for Decheerans bound for distant suns and the arrival for those returning home - for Atria is home for Decheerans, whether they were born there or not. Like the name sounds, it is shaped like an enormous flower, its petals solar panels that rotate to face the system's star, Orpheon. Its interior is intensely biological, with trees and flowers growing in planters throughout, and many of its chambers are in fact formed out of trees, in a mirror of the "city" of Sabiak below.

Where capital city Sabiak, on the planet's surface, has a natural appearance, with technology either hidden underground or carefully blended in, the Starlily is a showcase of Decheeran culture and advancement, with elaborate displays of bio- and cyber-tech.

A jewel of the Decheeran race, the station is the brainchild of a significant Decheeran engineer called Aduialneth, who designed and built it in the year 6 A.E.
