A tree-dwelling primate native to Atria, tangutans typically live peaceful lives in the Greenwilds, where groups of females and young tangutans are protected by aggressive alpha male or 'king' tangutans. Tangutans tend to stand about one meter tall with a hunch, have long arms that reach the ground even when standing upright, and have soft, silvery-blue hair all over their body except for their face, palms and feet. They are considered to be reasonably intelligent creatures, and have been observed using crude tools by Atrian naturalists.
