Pikato

The vining cave pikato is a gourdlike vegetable first originating on Prosabel II. Unique in that its ghostly white vines require darkness rather than sunlight to flourish, the gourd grows in the tunnels and caves that riddle the cliffs near the colony of Thait. Though it is quite small in the wild, the pikato can grow to great sizes when cultivated, and most of the time has a pale yellow coloration, though its fleshy, savory, seed-filled interior is a much darker orange. It is high in potassium.
