-- The Song Dominion - #90 ----------------------------------------------------
Author: Sythiorn, of the Argent Legion
Subject: A challenge.

Song Dominion,

Gone are the times where our leadership can rely on promises of victory to be kept by individual prowess of our citizens and disorganisation within our enemies. When I look at the state of Song, I see many dedicated individuals doing their best to serve. What is missing is a clear direction as to what it is that we should be doing to serve. Today, I am declaring a challenge against Lord Commander Mairon. I do not promise victory, for victory is not something that any one individual can promise. Victory can only come from the united efforts of the whole Song Dominion. What I do promise is strong leadership to unite behind.

Our leadership structure has been a mess since Kitty first claimed the mantle and disappeared shortly after. There is no clarity or transparency about what each position about what each position is responsible for, even among some of the leaders themselves. Responsibilities shift from one to another without any notice. I aim to change this by expanding the leaders into a war cabinet where the responsibilities of each are well defined. There will be no contests for these positions. Our leadership is not a mere sport, but must instead be chosen from those who excel in what they do on a daily basis.

I will prove that to succeed we do not need to make attempts at flexing by making arbitrary attacks on the Celestine Ascendancy, place guards at Danica, or enemy every single novice who decides Song is not for them. Instead, we must reclaim and foster our identity - what makes the Song Dominion the Song Dominion.

Thank you for your time. I am open to any questions you may have.

Sythiorn
