The Ascension Wars was a conflict that took place tens of millions of years ago and ended the reign of the Soulshorn Empire and its Immortal Bloodlords who had ruled the Starmourn Sector for the previous 100,000 years. An alliance of unknown races assembled the largest fleet ever seen until the War of Extinction in order to defeat them.
