The Tale

In the ancient planet of Ijzala, there existed a legendary figure known as the Twisted Soul Hunter. This enigmatic being was said to possess the long-lost art of wild kith with a relentless genocide to seek out and capture lost souls.

The Twisted Soul Hunter was feared and revered in equal measure. It was said there is no escape for a soul once marked by the Hunter. Villagers whispered tales of loved ones who had been taken in the dead of night, never to be seen again.

One fateful evening, a young Microsun Defense trainee named Kira found herself face-to-face with the Twisted Soul Hunter. Instead of cowering in fear, Kira stood her ground with the blessing of the goddess of war and demanded to know why the Hunter took the souls of the innocent.

The Hunter revealed the tragic truth that it was bound by an ancient curse, compelling it to gather souls to sustain its existence. Stricken with empathy, Kira offered to help the Hunter break the curse in exchange for its promise to release the captured souls.

Together, they embarked on a perilous journey to uncover the origins of the curse. Along the way, they encountered carnivorous reptiles and faced daunting assassins. Kira and the Hunter formed an unlikely bond as they worked towards a common goal despite the odds.

After many trials and tribulations, they finally discovered the source of the curse, an ancient artifact hidden deep within the forbidden ancient ruins of a temple in the Saksar jungle. With Kira's cunning and the Hunter's otherworldly abilities, they sealed the artifact and put the curse at bay.

Freed from its torment, the Twisted Soul Hunter fulfilled its promise and released the captured souls, bringing peace to the fallen warriors. In gratitude, the villagers hailed Kira and the Hunter as heroes, and their tale became a legend passed down through the generations.

From that day on, the Twisted Soul Hunter vowed to use its powers to guide the lost spirits to their rightful resting places. And Kira, once a regular trainee without honors, found her calling as a guardian of the supernatural, forever bound to the enigmatic being she had befriended.

As happy ending as it may sound, it is quite the opposite. Over the years, not all souls are put to rest, and not all are satisfied. Those who have weak minds will put their sanity to the test. Having the third eye by birth, the Twisted Soul Hunter saw them firsthand.

Unable to withstand the number of souls who wanted revenge, the Twisted Soul Hunter lost his sanity. The Hunter becomes the hunted. Out of mercy for her forever, she ended the life of the Hunter, spilling the blood at the pinnacle of Whitewing Mountain. Little did she know that whoever ends the life of the carrier of the curse would take its place.

She was last seen in Tranquility Deepness with multiple versions of her. Vertenalith's military profile marked her status as D.O.D.
