Fichi beans

A frost-resistance legume native to Paperweight and grown in Yr'sh'eya, the fichi bean is a fibrous vine that sprouts hard brown shells filled with leathery vermillion beans. Fichi beans can be prepared in a variety of ways, though all of them begin with boiling the bean to make it less tough. After that, it can be mashed, fried, milled into flour, or smoked and seasoned to make a fast substitute for jerky.
