Kuzi

Kuzi are a small, often bitter fruit with a very sweet smell and fragrant blossom. Young trees produce sweet citrus fruit that is sold as a delicacy around the sector, while old fruit has the strongest fragrance and has a bitterness in its skin often used for flavoring food and drinks. The blossom and fruit oils are also used in perfume and teas (a bit like Earth's sweet orange and bergamot).

They grow on little twisty scrubby trees in Suiko, the older the tree, the more potent the fragrance of the skin and blossom, but the younger the tree, the sweeter the flesh of the fruit.

The bark is also said to have medicinal properties, although it is so incredibly bitter as to taste utterly revolting to most races, though some rare souls actually enjoy it.
