The creeper vine is a dangerous twining vine native to Chion which has developed a mutualistic relationship with the kipler tree by which the trees allow the vines to extract nutrients from their bark and in exchange, the vines take advantage of their biting thorns and relatively advanced mobility to trap prey animals to enrich the soil. Without leaves or roots, the supple black bark of the creeper is able to bend and twist with great flexibility, making the coarse thorns of its 'mouth' a much more effective tool for hunting or feeding.
