Zitar

A one-stringed instrument, the zitar has a very long neck and a wide-bellied body. Most commonly played by balancing it against the body while seated cross-legged, the zitar's wavering, unearthly tone is a popular sonic accompaniment to traditional Jin historical reenactment plays.
