Tethering

Tethering mineable asteroids allows you to drag them to a space station or a planet for processing by a refinery. While an asteroid is tethered, its mass will be added to the mass of the ship, and rotation speed will be reduced. A tethered asteroid retains your mark for several hours, should you lose control over it for any reason, and cannot be tethered by anyone else for the duration. Once you have dragged the asteroid to a planet or station, you can refine it. The REFINERY command will display all relevant syntaxes.
