An internal neural replicator, or INR, is a piece of proprietary cybernetic hardware implanted into paying customers by the [[Hon-En-Tur Exaltation]]. INRs perform two vital functions in the lives of any person fortunate enough to be equipped with one. Firstly, it performs neural scans of the owner's brain, allowing an instance of the user's thoughts, feelings and memories to be uploaded at any HETE cloning facility. Subsequently, in the unfortunate event of a customer's untimely demise, the INR will emit a signal which the last registered facility will use to authorize the immediate manufacture of a clone to which they will upload the last saved neural pattern, allowing the client to survive even the most unlikely death.
