Globii
Globii are an Amaian/Bushraki dessert made of sweet glutinous rice flour and powdered sugar and wrapped around ice cream or dessert jelly to form bite-sized treats.
The confection was originally conceived of by an Amaian and a Bushraki working together on a cooking competition holoshow. When made by the Bushraki people, the dessert tends to be very sweet or spicy, as Bushraki have a poor sense of smell which affects their sense of taste, requiring strong flavors. When made traditionally by Amaian chefs, the dessert tends towards the use of seaweed and algae and is often much more understated in its flavors.
Globii, however, have since become a sector-wide sensation, and most every race has put their own spin on it.
