Native to the light side of Atria, but now farmed commercially due to their versatile, tasty and incredibly popular nuts this distinctive tree has a long straight trunk contrasted with a mass of twisted, contorted branches that tumble from the top, bearing abundant foliage from its springy limbs. Small and velvety heart-shaped leaves flutter a pale, bright green, and nestled among them are small white flowers and occasionally little clusters of spiny-shelled taunuts.
