Tau

A social herd animal native to Usum Usutti, the tau is a grazing ungulate with a wide skull buttressed by two stubby, blunted horns that begin above its brow and curve down to its thick jawbone. An ossiferous light gray exoskeleton covers its body, while more pointed horns protrude from its broad and bony shoulders. Beneath the exoskeletal layer, its tender underbelly and and long knobby legs are pale, fleshy pink.
