A large dark-furred rodent with enormous claws perfect for burrowing through the soil of Prosabel II, the star-nosed burrower is best identified by the sensitive star-shaped nose prominently featured on the animal's face. Like terraworms, the burrower consumes and excretes soil, deriving all of its need for food and water from the minerals it is able to extract from its environment, leaving loose, aerated soil in its wake.
