Echidna

Featuring in several popular horror films, the ponderously slow echidna of Frixion VI is a large, bulbous creature covered in fleshy projectile spines that excrete a powerful acid, allowing the creature to dissolve any organic matter nearby into sludge. Both the echidna's skin and its cartilaginous beak are immune to the effects of its potent acid. After the acid's efficacy has faded, and its target has degraded into a nutritious slurry, the echidna laps up the remains, easily digesting the neutralized acid and organic material.
