Guardian Council

The Guardian Council is the democratically elected governing body of the post-revolution Celestine Ascendancy, who retain sole executive power in the absence caused by the divorcement of all corporations from the government of the faction.

The Council has three leadership positions, and is led by a Guardian Prime, a Guardian empowered by their peers to speak on behalf of the Ascendancy when necessary. As the Guardians are considered to be a group of equals coordinating the faction's resources for the common good, the support of each Office in the affairs of the others is not uncommon.

The Guardians act as a united voice, voting on issues internally to reach a consensus. The title of Guardian Prime is an additional investiture of the people's trust, granting them the final decision-making power in matters where the Guardians are not able to reach an agreement.

Currently, these roles and their responsibilities are as follows:

• Guardian Imperator - Holgorath V'lani (Guardian Prime)

The Guardian Imperator is responsible for overseeing the ODS, the Office of Defense and Strategy, and with it, all manner of space fleet operations, ground forces operations, cosmpiercers conflict, cache consignments, etc.

• Guardian Envoy - Lupisentia V'lani

The Guardian Envoy is responsible for overseeing the OCA, the Office of Cultural Affairs, and with it, all manner of cultural pursuits such as contests, events, mentorship programmes, etc.

• Guardian Exarch - Dyne V'lani

The Guardian Exarch is responsible for overseeing the OBV, the Office of Business Ventures, and with it, all manner of financial and commercial affairs, including stellar economies, credit sales, etc.
