A tropical invertebrate native to equatorial Ghenla, the cotton candy jellyfish can grow to truly immense sizes given the space and food available in their environment. While truly immense specimens might exist on that restricted ocean world, smaller versions are sold as exotic pets across the sector. They resemble a pastel pouf of cotton candy, made from transparent goop that is practically invisible in the water, shot through with hair-thin strands of electrical impulses that radiate out from its mushroom-shaped dome. Its tendrils are long and sparkle with bioluminescent pinpricks that glimmer with all the colors of the rainbow. Despite their whimsical appearance, it still packs a nasty sting.

Cotton candy jellyfish are popular features of Lha Ti cuisine.
