Created by selective breeding from wild minnows native to Dawning, the aquarist's glacier tetra has long and elegant fins that grow much longer than the scant few centimeters of its body, which it uses to fold around itself to provide a cocoon of insulation against cold water. Though its tiny body is dark blue, its fins are a vibrant blue-white hue, like a glacier struck by the sun.
