Measuring three to five meters long when fully grown, the xuy beetle of subterranean Atria is a roaming hunting insect with deep carmine chitin, six armored legs, two yellow compound eyes and long, flowing antennae which curl back along its exoskeleton to provide a greater range of sensory perception in the lightless tunnels of its natural habitat.
