Lake Darter

With a sharp proboscis and incredible speed, this four-winged insect flits about Selubir waterways like Lake Eotvos searching for food. It tucks its six legs close to its body as it hovers and zips around, moving fast enough that it is often little more than a flash of glassy red and orange carapace.
