Often trained and woven into pergolas, the jagolona has woody, flaky vines of a pale grey-brown, with long dark green leaves that drape gracefully in vertical lines. It is most well-known for its trumpets of purple and yellow petals that reek of earthy-scented pollen, their stamens clustered with the vibrant red powder.
