Tu'an ('pattern') is the term used for specific transitions between vohzen, the positions used in the Tek-Vothiam aspect of traditional Jin martial art Ir-Vothiam.
This is where the term Pattern Play comes from - traditional Jin theater performances which meld the retelling of historical stories, with the beautiful movements of Tek-Vothiam.
