Fortuity Dice

Fortuity Dice, or destiny dice, is a common game found throughout Starmourn sector. A pair of eight-sided dice are cast, the images of which reveal some aspect of the caster's fate (or the person for whom the dice are cast). The dice are commonly used for games of chance, superstition, and storytelling. Though the images found on fortuity dice are more or less universal, opinions differ wildly about what abstract qualities they are meant to embody. Common interpretations include:

Starship: Voyage, journey, discovery

Moon: Wealth, prosperity, generosity

Eye: Fate, memory, vision

Blaster: Conflict, pain, growth

Star: Ambition, goals, fame

Mathematical symbols: Strategy, intelligence, higher thought

Heart: Passion, love, lust

Blank: Bad luck, the void, the Ishvana
