The crystal-headed '''tolma''' is a lithe quadrupedal creature native to the winding canyons of [[Nadru]]'s [[Ixsei Desert]]. It has a large, faceted lump of crystal for a head, and tough leathery skin studded with chunks of that same crystalline substance, particularly in the bends of its four slim legs and the joints of its digitigrade ankles. Each of its four feet have three toes capped with more crystal, slotting together to form a sort of false hoof that allows the tolma to move quickly across hard stone and soft sand with ease.
