==History==
The Cleax somehow used the [[Voidgate|voidgates]] to invade the [[Starmourn Sector]] approximately 26,000 years ago. They poured from the gates in seemingly endless numbers and devastated entire races before the [[Y'saari]] were able to beat them back with the help of the [[Shen]]. It was this even that inspired the Y'saari to create the [[Aegisphere|aegispheres]] from scavenged [[Vyar]] technology to protect the gates from falling into the wrong hands, and the [[Covenant Mark]] to control and regulate traffic through them.
==Culture==
Little is known about the culture of the Cleax except that their way of thinking is completely alien to that of any race inhabiting the Starmourn Sector.
