'''Swarmships''' were a type of [[starship]] used by the [[Sapphire Cults of the Jeweled Heresy]]. They used massive attacks of these small vessels to overwhelm their enemies, and had a particular rivalry with the [[Sooq]] and their [[Faceless Emperor]]. 

It is thought that the Cults were a rather fanatical race. They died out in a mass suicide mission against the [[Ishvana]] in the [[War of Extinction]] approximately 42,000 years ago, and were indeed one of the races to become extinct as a result of it.
