The low hum of the ship's engines reverberates in the background like the beating of a giant's heart.
;Lounge
: A subdued lounge.
: A smooth bar of molded nanoplastic sweeps around the back half of this lounge, just a bit of space between it and the bulkhead for the shelves of liquor and wine that are installed behind it, magnetic metal clamps keeping them from shifting about too much during moments of shipboard turbulence. The rest of the space is taken up by small, intimate little tables and chairs.
;Messhall
: A regimented mess hall.
: A center aisle down the middle of this long hall is flanked on either side by rows of military style tables, well-bolted to the floor to save them from the turbulence of space combat or navigating debris fields. Bulky food fabbers line the far wall, ready to print out a variety of nutritious and protein rich meals. The track lighting overhead keeps this area dimly lit, and the bulkheads crowd close on either side of the lines of tables.
;Stateroom
: A boxy stateroom.
: Things are small in this stateroom, with that spaceship economy of size that makes many places modest in scope. Still, it is a private room, with a single bed sized big enough for two thin people or one extremely large one, and a small powered locker for belongings. Bolted to the floor, a heavy table stands here. Reinforced by paristeel bands is a boxy footlocker. A narrow table of paristeel stands nearby on four wheeled legs.
;Studio
: A high-tech sound studio.
: Equipped with the latest in sonic enhancement architecture, this unique music studio has been designed to fit aboard a shipboard space with ease. A surround-sound system has been built into the bulkheads, and a noise-cancelling field prevents the noises of the engine from interfering with any soundscapes that might be sculpted here. A small, glassed in booth with a mixing table overlooks a modest stage, and a few loose wires and speaker systems are stacked around the area.
;Recroom
: A sprawling recreation room.
: Low slung, sound-proofed ceilings and bulkheads lit at intervals with neon lighting that fans towards the floor in a cone-shaped gradiant are the first impressions one might get upon entering this shipboard recreation room. It is a modern place, the bulbous far end occluded by the presence of a large, wrap-around holographic immersion screen. Cushy seats and small tables fill the rest of the area, and there are all manner of entertainments available, from quantum chess to Krellstones.
;Restroom
: A clean restroom.
: There is nothing too out of place or unusual about this shipboard bathroom, gleaming paristeel walls and tiled floors covering the bulkheads that lurk beneath. There are toilets and a row of sinks below a mirror, as well as a couple enclosed showers. As in every other place in the ship, the hum of the engine pulses throbs through every surface.
;Hydroponics
: A gleaming hydroponics bay.
: White floor, white bulkheads, white ceiling, white lights. Such is the environment in which one might find themselves when they step into this hydroponics chamber. Two long tables of molded nanoplastic, full to the brim with healthy greens growing in a soil-less substrate, stretch down its length, with a small aisle in between. A small monitoring drone nips here and there, a hovering little orb of silver, checking the hydration levels of the various plants, and some equipment sits on a shelf in the corner.
;Medbay
: A sleek medbay.
: Tucked into an alcove of the ship is this small but sleek medbay, the bulkheads gleaming with cleanliness, the floor shining white beneath the bright glare of the overhead lights. Various medical equipment is stationed throughout the bay, and there are a couple of flat cots stationed near the back, waiting for injured crewmen.
;Gym
: A small fitness center.
: A couple of treadmills and a compact resistance machine line the back wall of the small fitness center that has been built aboard the ship, ready to offer motivated crewmen a way to keep in conditioning during long space voyages. There is a padded area of clear mats before a mirror on the other side, and free weights standing on a shelf, though chained down in case of turbulence.
;Commonroom
: A cozy ship's common room.
: Snug and comfortable, this room with its rounded bulkheads, neutral-toned carpeting, and comfortable furniture seems to be some kind of common space meant for off duty personnel. There are a few battered holorigs attached to the plush couches that are installed along the walls, and a small, circular minibar rising from the center of the room. Tiny portholes look out onto the blackness of space, and the lighting is dim and soothing.
;Amaianswimtank
: A temperate Amaian swimming tank.
: A triple-layered section of the ship's hull bulges outward in sinuous, elegant lines. Much of the design seems influenced by Amaian architecture, with blue hues predominating and a pair of pillar-like bulkheads flanking the door leading out of this place. Installed into the center of the space is a deep, clear-sided swimming tank that can be accessed via a small catwalk. The liquid within is temperate and perfectly clear. Despite its location aboard a space-going vessel, there is plenty of space within the tank for multiple bodies to cavort beneath the surface.
;Utilityroom
: A crowded utility room.
: From this small, closet-like space, several necessary but unattractive aspects of the ship's vital functions can be accessed, from switchboxes for the electrical conduits to various plumbing and non-essential climate control nozzles, tabs, and touch screens that glow in the dim light of recessed dot-lighting. The bulkheads are crowded with toolboxes, spare parts, and a few implements used in cleaning, hygeine, and general maintenance.
;Armory
: A well-equipped armory.
: Corrugated, wall-mounted shelves of paristeel line the walls of this well-lit and spacious chamber, which is floored with squeaky white tiles. Spot lighting above each shelf highlights the various weapons on display. Beyond the shelves, a couple of biped armor models hold a few bits and pieces of ablative armor. There is a workbench at the far end of the room where intrepid inventors can fit together their latest attempts, while a computerized cabinet beside the bench holds tools, mods, and a holographic display of the room's inventory.
;Humanlibrary
: A small media library of Human history.
: This small chamber appears to be dedicated to the consumption of historical media, judging by the battered row of old-fashioned holodiscs lining a shelf beneath a slick viewscreen. A few pedestals in the area hold datashards containing significant historical records about the homeless plight of humanity. In the center of the room is a large holographic globe projecting a simulation of what historians believe Earth looked like. 2 bolt-legged tables are here.
;Observation
: A blue-lit observation lounge.
: Spacious and accomodating, though rather narrow, this room has been tucked off one of the spaceship's decks, snugged up against the hull. A vast window of triple-shielded formglass gives passengers a view into the black void of space, or whatever happens to be outside at the moment. The area is carpeted and suffused with low blue light, and some plush, dark couches are installed into bulkheads opposite the window, perfect for lounging and watching the stars roll by. The rumble of the ship's engines is a constant, soothing hum.
;Captainscabin
: A spacious captain's cabin.
: Tucked up beneath the hull, there is quite a lot of space allocated to these personal quarters, suggesting that it belongs to the captain of this spacegoing vessel. A bed large enough for two sits against the far bulkhead. There is a fish tank installed in the corner, filled with exotic aquatic beasties of all varieties - unless someone has forgotten to feed them.
;Bathroom
: A clean private bathroom.
: A single corner shower, a single toilet, and a single sink - that is the extent of the gleaming appliances available for use in this bathroom, suggesting that it is meant for a single occupant. The lock on the door confirms it, a single button push would change the outside indicator light from green to red, indicating that the chamber is occupied.
;Walkinfridge
: A cramped walk-in refridgerator.
: This dimly lit space is barely larger than a closet, and it is made more cramped by the presence of narrow, paristeel shelves lining every bulkhead. The cold of the void seems to have seeped in from beyond the ship, for it is very frosty in here, breath fogging whenever one exhales. The presence of a refrigeration unit hums and rattles. A few meathooks on short chains dangle from the ceiling, clinking gently.
;Grayroom
: A quiet, signal-jammed gray room.
: Nondescript and understated, with the subtle hint of soundproof padding on the walls, this small, dimly lit room has a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. So peaceful, in fact, that it almost seems unnatural - until you realize that this is a gray room, a space specifically engineered to block out the nonstop torrent of mindsim information, comms chatter, and personal communication that usually assaults you, shrouding you in the hallowed silence of muted, uninterrupted tranquility.
;Labs
: A research laboratory.
: Holographic terminals for research results and number crunching are installed at intervals between long pull-down wall tables of gleaming paristeel in this ship's laboratory. There are locking, glass-fronted cabinets full of scientific equipment in the corners, and glittering beneath the recessed strip lighting is a complex series of instruments on an island counter that rises from the center of the lab.

Ship rooms can be created and customized using the SHIP REFIT menu and commands therein. Below are some of the room options that can be found using SHIP REFIT ROOMS.

;Maindeck
: The main deck.
:This broad main deck is located in the center of the ship, connecting all the various places and spaces that run along the sides of it. The bulkheads are smooth and molded, and recessed lighting beneath the corrugated floor panels gives the entire area an underlit glow.
Their lead singer is an imposing W'hoorn with black wings and a flowing golden mane and soulful brown eyes who is somewhat of a heartthrob throughout the sector. Their distinctive logo can often be spotted on the patches, shirts and hoodies of many throughout the sector, especially concert-goers and the previously-disaffected-no-longer-youthful - though the band does continue to attract younger fans from every faction.
<blockquote><i>This holoposter features a black and white panning shot of the down-lit members of Transtellica, moodily leaning against a brick wall in a shady back alley. Steam pools around the floor as the center figure, an imposing W'hoorn with black wings and a flowing golden, mane lifts his head and begins to sing a sad nanorock ballad. As his deep brown eyes stare into your soul, the band behind him suddenly appear to be playing instruments, and the song reaches its rousing chorus. The view turns sideways and onto the monochrome brick wall sprays a shower of blood, which spells out the words "Everything Matters", the red screaming out in the otherwise monochrome holoposter. The poster fades to black with the white Transtellica logo in the middle, before looping back to the start.</i></blockquote>

<blockquote><i>The Transtellica logo. Simply the band's name in a distinctive font, the first and last letters made larger and angular to look like spiked stars. Behind the logo is a stylized pair of feathered wings (often printed in glossy black on merchandise so they can only be picked out in texture). </i></blockquote>
Lithium Alleys are a political dreamfunk band from Litharge in the Celestine Ascendancy. After rising to galactic fame after the release of their song <i>'Angel'</i>, in the wake of the destruction of the Corporate Justice Building, the group have continued to protest for social reform and a number of other issues through their music. The music itself is an unexpectedly compelling juxtaposition of dreamy, chilled-out electronic funk with charged and controversial lyrics.
Band Members
Rat Race
Male - tbc<br/>
Jurryt Aldert, or "Rat Race" as he is more commonly known, is the lead programmer and mixologist of Lithium Alleys, a Litharge-based dreamfunk group. The locally famous group achieved galactic recognition upon the release of their hit single, "Angel" - released shortly after the destruction of the Corporate Justice building. Rat Race is responsible for the heavily political slant of the band's lyrics, and is a vocal proponent of system reform.
Atsi Aldert
Female - tbc<br/>
Atsi Aldert is Rat Race's sister, and has a much quieter personality than her more vocal brother. Despite this, she is rumored to be involved in a group of politically radical black hat hackers. Both she and her brother were born and raised in the Subnet, scraping their way up from nothing by busking for marks until their dreamy music coupled with charged, controversial lyrics attracted mainstream attention. She plays the synthboard.
Lirain Udondo
Male - Nusriza<br/>
Lirain Undondo is a Nusriza kithdrum player who moved to Litharge from Frixion VI following the controversy of Martias Arrarax and Kimera Santuren. He is fervent in his desire for a single-faction sector, being vocally opposed to both the Song Dominion and Scatterhome. He uses his fame with Lithium Alleys to fund a lavish lifestyle, and has been arrested multiple times for flying a spaceship while under the influence of illegal drugs. Never seen without a joint of leesa in his beak.
Suti Basah
Female - tbc<br/>
Suti Basah was a member of Jewel before dramatically quitting the Aetherscape group to pursue a more eclectic and less traditional musical style. Her influence on the dreamy sound of Lithium Alleys is hard to quantify, but critics agree that the depth and sophistication of the band has only improved since she signed on with her e-strings.
Asytia
Female - Amaian<br/>
Asytia is a former adult holovid star turned voidpipe player, and her glamorous, sexy public persona has followed her to Lithium Alleys. Her talent with the voidpipes is unmistakeable, but critics claim the Amaian woman would have never gotten her spot in the band if it weren't for her pre-existing fame.

Elen and the Elgans are a famous band, well known around the sector for their bluesy and contagious nanorock style of music. Their off-stage antics are well reported in the gossip clogs and people follow them in the media just as much for their soap-opera style shenanigans as their music. Their music is well-loved and critically acclaimed.
Band Members:
Elen Starlis
Female - Elgan<br/>
Lead singer and guitarist Elen Starlis was born in Whittler's Hollow, and played in cavern cover bands for most of her childhood, developing her signature blues-based nanorock style. Her smoky croon and empowering vocals have regularly sold out concert venues.
Alybar Dremel
Male - Elgan<br/>
The bass guitarist of Elen and the Elgans has a troubled relationship with narcotics, and his antics are frequently featured on popular gossip clogs. He was born on Krell, in a small village far from Biloxan.
Pokas
Male - Elgan<br/>
Pokas (no surname) ran the spacewave circuit as a solo artist for a decade before signing on with Elen and the Elgans. His sonic synthboard mixes and lush harmonies keep the production values of the band high.
Celassi Ven
Female - Elgan<br/>
When she is not touring, Celassi Ven experiments with growing unique fruit cultivars as a side hobby on her small Whittler's Hollow farm. Her drumming style is described as 'relentless'. Her dramatic rivalry with her sister Daphiqys is legendary.
Daphiqys Ven
Female - Elgan<br/>
Known as something of a tempermental diva, backing vocalist Daphyqis is the sharp-tempered and flamboyant foil to the relatively laid back character of Elen Starlis. Claims writing credit for the hit songs 'Highland Highway' and 'No More Money'.

The Vurboks are a Ry'nari starcore band mainly hailing from Hororeon. Their thrashy, loud style and violent lyrics take precedent over melody in their music, as is to be expected with a group of Ry'nari who cannot technically hear pitch. Nonetheless, under the cacophony of screaming, the band play skilled and technical music, which is enjoyed throughout the sector. Essentially a four-piece band, The Vurboks heard one fan's acoustic covers of their songs and invited her to join them on tour, and now Eilo Ursua is a regular guest member of the group.
Band Members
Ferloc Tarke
Male - Ry'nari<br/>
Ferloc Tarke is the frontman of The Vurboks. Though nearly all of his music is of the head-thrashing, screaming variety, he has stated to reporters that he is planning on releasing an acoustic album soon. Despite the violent subject matter in many of his lyrics, he is a teetotaler and a vegan.
Woga Woga
Female - Ry'nari<br/>
Woga Woga is a popular, polarizing figure in gossip clogs thanks to her whacky, primal antics. Roaring in reporter's faces, eating raw meat in the middle of interviews, refusing to wear a shirt, and destroying public property are only a few of the outlandish things she is known for. She was once arrested for bathing in W'hoorn blood in the middle of a concert on Benu Wen, causing The Vurboks to be exiled from all Celestine Ascendancy territories.
Saash Flash
Female - Ry'nari<br/>
Saash Flash is laid-back compared to many of her other band mates, save when she is performing, where she is famous for her violent, intense thrashing of the kithdrums. She has said to reporters that her idea of a good time is a beach vacation.
Palot Jal
Male - [{Ry'nari]]<br/>
Palot Jal is thought by musical critics to be the thread of accessibility that flows through a very polarizing group - his skillful cello playing keeping his band's music both accessible, unique, and fresh. Following the exile and arrest of most of his tribe by the Lord Commander of the Song Dominion, he became extremely reclusive, and refuses to talk to reporters.
Eilo Ursua
Female - Ry'nari<br/>
Once a solitary grain farmer on Hororeon, Eilo Ursua rocketed into the public eye when her amateur, acoustic covers of popular Vurboks hits went viral on the commsphere. She became so popular, in fact, that Ferloc Tarke extended an invitation to go on tour with the band.
Other Media
The Vurboks have a range of merchandise available, often spotted on the disaffected Ry'nari youth around the Dominion's major cities, and further afield. Some examples are below:
<blockquote><i>This simple holoposter says THE VURBOKS!!! in big, bright red letters at the top. Below the band name there is a moving image of a Vurbok riding on a much too tiny hoverscooter, trailed by a pack of compy cheerfully playing various musical instruments.</i></blockquote>
<blockquote><i>This is an illustrated graphic, clearly for printing onto merchandise. Towards the bottom of a dark green background 'THE VURBOKS' is written in a bold white font. Above the band name is a graphic of a pack of cartoon compy, climbing on top of each other and attempting to operate a B.E.A.S.T suit that looks like a mechanical Vurbok.</i></blockquote>
