The Echanine Schism was a religious revolution of the Nusriza. In the wake of the Bushraki War, many of the Nusriza began to lose faith in their protector god, Echanine. Paired with the curiosity that had been repressed by its strict isolationist tendencies, Echanism quickly lost influence with the Nusrizan people between 31 and 35 AE. While a significant portion of the population still follow Echanism, it is by far the minority and no longer has the cultural influence it once had. After the schism, the Nusrizans began to practice both styles of kith and interacting with other races, eventually allying with several others to form the Song Dominion.
